The Top Why You Shouldn’t Try To Sell Your Car Privately.

The Top Why You Shouldn’t Try To Sell Your Car Privately.

If you have a vehicle that you currently want to sell because you want to upgrade to something better than you of course want the best price possible and you want to sell it as soon as possible. It’s likely that you are thinking that selling it privately will get you these things but this couldn’t be further from the truth. If you have never sold a car privately before then there are a number of things that you will experience and the vast majority of them are not pleasant.

If you want to sell your car without hassle then it is probably best that you speak to a service provider that is willing to purchase your vehicle, give you the best price possible and they will do all the hard work so you don’t have to. If you are still considering going ahead and selling privately, here are some of the pitfalls of doing that very thing.

    • Dealing with tyre kickers – Your day may be full up with many things that you need to do, but there are people out there with entirely too much time on their hands and they will come look at your car with absolutely no intention of buying it, so you can forget immediate cash for car. They are known as tyre kickers and they can waste as much of your time as you will let them.
    • Dealing with cheapskates – even though you feel that you are offering your vehicle at a good price, there are those who will haggle and try to bid you down and take you to a point where you just want to pull your hair out and take your car off the market.
    • It is massively time consuming – You will get lots of phone calls with some of them being genuine but the amount of time and effort that you need to put in meeting people all day every day until the vehicle is sold, is not how you want to be spending your free time. You will kick yourself when you see how much effort it takes to sell your vehicle privately.

This is why it makes a lot more sense to deal with a service provider that understands the market and knows exactly what your car is worth. There is no haggling and they will offer a price and it is up to you if you want to accept it or not. If happy, the money can be in your account in no time at all.
