Pamela Elaine Tebow is an author, speaker, and missionary. She is the mother of Tim Tebow, an American professional football player. Besides Tim, she is a mother of four other children, Christy, Peter, Robert, and Katie Tebow. Pamela, born on November 24, 1949, in San Francisco, California, is an evangelist as she has been greatly involved in her husband’s ministry.
While talking to Moms in Prayer Podcast, Pamela said the most important thing she did for her children was pray for them and teach them the scriptures. All her children are homeschooled and have grown up being taught Christian beliefs.
Pamela’s son started playing football in high school, and even though he was homeschooled, he would often join in high school games. He played college football at the University of Florida and became the first second-year student to win the Heisman Trophy. He played for Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars in his professional football career.
In her personal life, Pamela married her college lover Robert Ramsey Tebow II, in the summer of 1972. The two first met while they were students at the University of Florida; while Robert was a sophomore, Pamela was a first-year student. They became friends and grew fond of each and years later; they tied the knot.
Pamela and her husband have been together for five decades, and their love seems to grow as they spread the word of God together. Pamela and her family liked moving around; in 1985, they moved to the Philippines for missionary work in the local community. While in the Philippines, Pamela became sick due to amoebic dysentery, which led to a coma for some time.
Pamela Elaine was administered strong anti-infectives, which adversely affected her unborn baby. The doctors were anticipating a stillbirth and asked Pamela to consider an abortion, but it was unlawful in the Philippines. She kept the pregnancy; months later, she gave birth to her son Tim Tebow.
