Romantic love stories have always remained popular among young viewers. Other than usual romantic films or television shows that we watch with our partners, there are anime shows that are not behind in portraying romance between the characters. When it comes to love, then we don’t necessarily mean the usual romantic strides taking place between a boy and a girl. This is all the common stuff that you have grown up watching. If you love manga anime shows, then you might have watched Bloom Into You.
It is a Japanese anime that does not revolve around love between a boy and a girl, but it showcases the lesbian romance between two main girl characters. The romantic anime series is an adaptation of the actual yuri manga series having a similar title. The creation of the content and illustrations have been done by the writer-creator, Nio Nakatani.
The publishing of the manga series Bloom Into You took place six years ago on 27th April in a monthly manga magazine named Dengeki Daioh. In the next year, it was licensed by a famous American publishing firm Seven Seas Entertainment for the English version in North America. And in 2017, the publishing of the manga series first volume took place.
Troyca, an anime studio based in Japan, made a plan for the adaptation of a manga series into an anime TV show. And in 2018 came the premiere of Bloom Into You first season on 5th October. The anime show got much appreciation from the manga series fans. Plus, it also succeeded in gaining new viewership.
Now after the end of season 1 of Bloom Into You, the manga fans are eagerly waiting for the streaming of the second installment of this anime series. So let us find out when it is going to take place.

Story plot
Bloom Into You comes with an interesting and unique love story revolving around a girl character called Yuu Koito. She is a big fan of reading Japanese manga comics like Shoujo manga. Yuu always dreams of the day when she is going to experience all that is shown in the comics in reality.
When a classmate of Yuu from middle school expresses his feelings to her, she rejects his proposal, as she has no idea how to feel in such a situation. Later on, she notices a girl named Touko Nanami, who is a member of the second-year student council, also turning down a confession. This makes Yuu feel connected to her as she finds her in a similar situation as her.
When both the girls start communicating, they soon start sharing a good bond. And Touko surprises Yuu when she confesses her feelings to her. Upon finding Yuu in an unexpected state and giving a response to her, Touko tells her to abstain from loving her in return. Yuu agrees to it. Later on, she makes a declaration about her participation in becoming the president of the student council.
Yuu becomes the manager of the student council
Touko even asks Yuu to become manager of her student council campaign. To the concern of Sayaka Saeki, known to be the best friend of Touko, Yuu says yes to it. Despite falling into an anxious state, Yuu gives a robust speech for the campaign during the election day. Along with it, she decides to be a part of the student council. And this results in Touko becoming triumphant in the election.
Growing intimacy
In the array of events taking place in Bloom Into You, we will see the growing closeness of Yuu and Touko. Very soon both the girls develop closeness for each other ending in much emotional and carnal intercourse with each other. One such incident takes place during a bowling competition; they agree that whoever wins among them, will request the other. In the end, Yuu wins over Touko, and as per the agreement, asks her to sleep at her house, to which she agrees.
And so Yuu comes to Touko’s place, and both the girls share a pleasant moment in the evening. After having a bath, Yuu enters the bedroom of Touko, and both indulge in sexual pleasure. In the later years, both the girls become high school graduates and make entry into college. And now their fingers are adorned with rings. Yuu and Touko once again get united with the members of the former student council and attend their high school culture festival ceremony. There both the girls recall the beginning of their relationship.
Leading characters of Bloom Into You
Yuu
Yuu studies at Toomi Higashi High School in her first year. She is shown having difficulty in expressing her love. It becomes very hard for Yuu to turn down requests put up one her. The voice-over of this anime character is done by Hisako Kanemoto. But very soon she starts sharing a good rapport with a second-year girl student named:
Touko
Touko is a high school girl in her second year. She is also the president of the student council. Like Yuu, she also suffers from the problem of confessing her feelings, till the time she comes close to Yuu. Touko pretends to be unmoved and someone who can be dependent upon. But inside she conceals her hidden desires and anxiety at times being compared with her sister who is no more. Only Yuu has figured this out. It is she who is familiar with her weaker side.
When to expect the second season of Bloom Into you?
The premiere of the first season of the anime series Bloom Into You came in 2018 on 5th October. It streamed for thirteen episodes. In the same year, the first season ended on 28th December. Even though the anime show had been successful in amassing huge viewer traffic, still, there has been no official announcement of its second installment yet. We might expect its release by 2022.
