Early life
Born on the 17th February 1971 in Downers Grove, Illinois, Denise was the only female player in her Baseball team. Her father was a telephone engineer and mother was the owner of a coffee shop. She lost her mother in the year 2007. Denise was 15 when her family shifted to Oceanside, California, where she attended the El Camino High School. She was quite popular in her school days and was adored by many. Her popularity was such that she was voted as the best looking female in her school magazine.
After she graduated, she got into modelling and for her professional commitments had to travel to different cities like Tokyo and Paris. She has a German and French ancestry and is a Roman Catholic.

Towards the end of December, 2001, Denise exchanged rings with her long time boyfriend Charlie Sheen, who was an actor by profession. The couple got hitched just six months later, in June 2002. They were blessed with two daughters.
