Katya Ariel Tylo is the daughter of Hunter Tylo and Michael Tylo. Hunter is known for her role as Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful. Tylo subsequently became well known after playing regular roles in US daytime soap operas.
Her television debut was on All My Children in 1985 as the character of Dr. Taylor Hayes. The feeling was an antagonist as Marina Toscano on Days of Our Lives. She was fired from the role due to her affair with Michael Tylo.
Life and Family
Tylo was born to Hunter Tylo and Michael Morehart in Nevada. She is of American-Canadian descent. Tylo grew up in Henderson, and she is the niece of Elizabeth Hunter, a former television producer. She has four older siblings: two brothers, Michael Jr, Christopher, and his sister Izabella.
In 1998 Katya was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the eye, retinoblastoma, which is usually curable if it is found early enough. She began chemotherapy, but later in the year, a tumor was detected in Katya’s other eye; the tumor was too deep to be removed by surgery and could not be treated with chemotherapy without eradicating her sight.
In February 1999, she underwent an experimental proton beam radiation therapy treatment. It was successful, and Katya recovered and wore a prosthetic right eye. Her brother Michael Tylo Jr died a tragic death after he drowned in the family pool in Nevada. At the time of his death, he was 19 years old. He had a seizure disorder that he experienced while swimming, as per The Clark Coroner.
His Mother’s Career Life
In 1985, Tylo made his first debut on All My Children. Her fame grew after she played a role in a soap opera. She admired a married man, Michael Tylo, and they were caught up in a relationship that led to her dismissal. After an unsuccessful hit in opera, she decided to quit acting and enrolled at Fordham University in Bronx, New York. She was offered Dr. Taylor Hayes in Bold and Beautiful opera while attending her lectures.
After thirty in Bold and Beautiful Hunter, Tylo withdrew from the show. She was the fundamental character in the front, and her sudden fall out surprised many fans. Hunter devoted herself to missionary work which she volunteered for.

The late Michael Tylo was born on October 16, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Michael Edward and Margaret. Michael had three kids with Hunter, who was his second wife. He had a stepson, Christopher, with his first wife, Tom Morehart. The famous popular actor died in 2021 due to sickness. Michael Tylo is a screen actor who has been in the business for a while. He has appeared in several soap operas.
Tylo was often seen on television as a character in primetime dramas, and he is also a voice actor. After graduation from college, he moved to Henderson, Nevada, where he started his career in the entertainment industry.
In 1994, Tylo made his acting debut by appearing on the soap opera “Guiding Light” as Quint Chamberlain. Several roles followed this in other soap operas such as Melrose Place and The Young and the Restless. In addition to this, he played the role of Charlie Prince on General Hospital and Matt Connolly on All My Children.
