    By TylerApril 8, 2022Updated:April 8, 2022No Comments3 Mins Read
    Frank Szatkus

Frank Szatkus was a song and dance man who appeared in vaudeville. He was the husband of the actress Mae West. Frank’s fundamental data is unclear; there isn’t any hard copy evidence to support who he claimed to be. But one thing that you can deduce from the available information is that he was born on October 31 Oct 1892, in Brooklyn, New York City.

The information about his family is also not supported by any proof. Still, he mentioned his parents’ names once Anthony J. Szatku and Anna U. Szatkus lived in Albany, New York. There is no proven evidence to support all this.

    His Relationship with Mae West

Mae West is one of the most celebrated performers in American cinema history. She became a cultural icon of the 1920s and 1930s, known for her bold and raunchy persona, dazzling appearance, and risqué humor. She was born on November August 17, 1893, in New York. At an early age, she began performing in plays at the Theater. Before becoming an actress, she had been an aspiring actress since her teens.

Born Mary Jane West in Bushwick, Brooklyn, she was the eldest surviving child of Matilda and John Patrick West. Both of her parents were born and raised in Brooklyn. Her mother had German-American descent, and her father had English-American ancestry. The family lived at 272 Jefferson Street.

Mae got engaged to Frank, and the latter got married in April 1911, whose stage name was Frank Wallace. They kept their marriage a secret in that Mae even denied Frank as his husband. They did this to enable Mae to gain fame. They were married for thirty-one years until they got divorced in 1942. A clerk at Mae’s office came across the marriage certificate and uncovered their hidden secret.

Mae denied the claim, making Frank sad to the extent she sued her for not acknowledging him. Mae later revealed the truth of her being married to Frank in 1937. Frank gave her eight million as compensation. Frank sued her for the same matter, and finally, she accepted the truth in 1937 that Frank was indeed her husband. She had to give her $8 million fortune as compensation.

    Career

Frank was a song and dance man who lived in Henderson, Nevada. Frank became interested in music when she was a teenager. He has been active in the music industry since starting his career in the early 90s. Frank composed songs that had a big hit like “Happy Moments’ ‘during his career. He performed in many hotels and nightclubs.

His wife Mae had no educational background, but she was devoted to her albums and plays, which she performed. Most of his claims were disputed by many people, mainly as Frank claimed he was the one behind those works.

    Personal Life

Frank was a very private person and did not reveal much about himself. He died in 1966 of natural causes, and his soul rested at Saint Louis Cemetery. Frank’s life isn’t as dull as it appears. Even if he doesn’t have a family and rarely associates with anyone, he still has an exciting story. He’s been in the music business for decades, but his net worth data was never recorded.
