Story plot
As has been mentioned above, Once Upon a Time features characters that you have been familiar with. No Disney fan can forget the stories of Prince Charming, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, and Evil Queen. Where most of the fairy tales end up on a happier note, Once Upon a Time does not follow the same pattern, and has a tragic end.
The story plot of this American fantasy series begins with the wedding ceremony of handsome-looking Prince Charming and beautiful princess Snow White. Everyone present in the ceremony was having a good time, until the arrival of the Evil Queen that became spoilsport in the joyful wedding moment. She announces her curse on everyone around here. Seeing others in trouble would bring a forever happy ending for her.
The curse of the Evil Queen comes true, inflicting everyone with amnesia. Her evil spell makes all get transferred to Storybrooke, a fictional town in Maine. Now comes the present time story plot which begins with Emma Swan. On the occasion of her twenty-eighth birthday, she meets Henry, her son, the one who was being given for adoption long ago. Emma’s meeting with Henry brings a new twist to her life. According to her son’s belief, fairy tales still exist in Storybrooke.
Besides this, Henry also believes that Snow White is the mother of Emma, and father of Prince Charming. To keep her protected from the evil spell of the Evil Queen, her parents sent her away from the bewitched forest. Initially, Emma does not agree with what Henry reveals to her, but finally, after much insistence, she heads for Storybrooke.
Emma becomes Sheriff
There she takes up the job of a Sheriff in Storybrooke town and very soon comes to know about many secrets that lie in the city. Everyone has been there for twenty-eight years without getting older and is not aware of it. Being inflicted with amnesia, everyone recognizes only the Evil Queen, who is now known by another name – Regina Mills. She is the one who adopted Henry.
Now all hope to pierce the evil spell that dwells upon Emma. And with it, she can bring back memories of everyone. Now the time has come when Emma needs to realize the exact purpose for which she was being sent away from the enchanted forest by her parents. Emma has to combat the Evil Queen in the battle of both worlds. Her son Henry will be on her side to help her mother in saving the world from the evil clutches of the Evil Queen.

Jennifer Morrison plays the protagonist Emma Swan in the American fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time. She is helped by her son Henry in saving the world while combating Evil Queen Regina Mills. Henry is her son whom she had abandoned at the time of his birth. Initially, she does not believe the fairy tale but later agrees to visit the town of Storybrooke.
Born in 1979 on 12th April, Jennifer is a talented American actress who apart from acting, is also proficient in other skills – production and direction. She had been a child model also. Will there be a season 8 of Once Upon a Time?
The premiere of the American fantasy-adventure-drama show Once Upon a Time came four years ago on 6th October on ABC network. The series did make a good start and impressed the viewers due to its portrayal of the fictional and present-day world. But the rating dipped in the following seasons, and the makers finally had to cancel the show after season 7. Hence, the 8th season of Once Upon a Time is officially canceled.
