    Plot:

    The story of the series revolves around the main character- Star Davis who is a teenage orphan. He leaves the foster care to prevent her younger sister – Simone Davis from being sexually or physically abused at her foster home. The siblings were split after their mother’s death. 

    While Star escapes the tragic experience, she discovers a muse in singer/songwriter Alexandra Crane who is a resident of New York City and lives under the shadow of her celebrity father. Star proposes the idea of leaving the town to become a singing group with her to Alex, who eventually accepts it. 

    The duo travels to Atlanta, Georgia, and seeks refuge under a surrogate mother named Carlotta Brown who turns out to be a close friend and singing partner of the siblings’ mother. The further story follows all the feats the star attains and the obstacles she has to face.
