    • Keep your flexibility – Stretching is incredibly important as is mindful eating before you do any kind of meaningful exercise. If your muscles are not warmed up then they are likely to tear and this is when you really do need to go see your physiotherapist. Even though you are keen to start, take just ten minutes to do a proper warm-up.
    • Maintain your core – If you have a strong core then you will find that this helps with your balance and your overall stability. This will help you to avoid getting injured and so do exercises like stomach crunches and planks to keep yourself in tip-top form.
    • Adapt the proper techniques – This is when your physio can really help because he or she knows the proper techniques for all the exercises that you want to do and they will teach you not to overextend yourself and the types of exercise equipment that you should be using to reach peak fitness.
    • Always take time to rest – Although you are keen to work-out every single day, this can actually put you back and so it is essential that you take breaks to get a proper rest from your exercise routines. Your muscles need time to heal so rest when on vacation and remember that if you overuse them then you will get injured and then it’s off to the physio with you.
