The T-Series controversy
The battle began when PewDiePie posted a video, whose thumbnail seemed to congratulate T-Series on them becoming the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world. But what came next to clicking the thumbnail, wasn’t as pleasant. He started by roasting T-Series.
He asserted, “All it took was a massive corporate entity with every song in Bollywood” to defeat him. Also, when he finally congratulated T-Series on their win, it was with “the finger”. And, if you did assume so, he didn’t stop there.
He went on to troll India with some extremely bizarre comments like, “I love my Indian bros from Bombay to Bangladesh.” Bangladesh isn’t a part of India! When you troll someone, you must at least know them. The second part of the battle started when T series sued him in a defamation case.
PewDiePie, crossing all lines of decency, went on state comments like, “Indians have poo-poo in the brains.” And as if that wasn’t enough, he accepts it to be a racist statement but yet “not defamation”. He even does not hold back from commenting on India’s poverty but says, “Maybe all those ads will solve your crippling poverty”.
