According to her, she did have a cesarean section with all of her kids. However, with Nathan, the doctors told her that she has a “threatened miscarriage”.
Barbara also shared how she had to wait until the morning to get an ultrasound. According to her, they had to go through the night assuming that their child was dead.
Fortunately, he wasn’t dead. God showed him to them. Nathaniel was sucking his thumb. Barbara considers this a miracle. He is so perfect and healthy. According to her, God blessed them.

Nathaniel’s mother is Barbara Ann Mandrell, commonly known as Barbara Mandrell. She was born on December 25, 1948.
Barbara is a popular American country music musician and singer. She’s also credited as an author and actress.
During the early 1980s and late 1970s, she was known as the most successful music artist in the country. She had six number 1 singles and 25 top ten singles that reached the Billboard country songs chart.
Barbara also hosted her own prime-time TV show that featured comedy sketches, dance numbers, and music in the early 1980s.
During her career, Barbara also played a range of musical instruments that helped bring a series of major awards in the industry.

Mandrell was born in Houston, Texas to parents Irby Mandrell and Mary Ellen. She was the eldest daughter.
Later on, the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. Her mother was a music teacher while her father was a police officer.

In 1967, Barbara was married to Ken Dudney. He is a former Navy pilot and musician. Originally, Ken was hired as the drummer for Barbara’s family band.
The two met when Ken was 21 and Barbara was 14. During this period, Ken was engaged to another woman.
However, Ken broke off the engagement after finding out he has feelings for Barbara. According to Barbara, she dated Ken since she was 14. She could not wait to graduate high school so she could marry him.
In 1967, the two officially wed. At the time of their marriage, Ken gave up his job as a Navy pilot to further help the career of his wife.
In 1970, the couple welcomed their first kid Matthew. Jamie, their second child, was born in 1976. Nathan, their third child, was born in 1985.
