Rinehart’s work broke ground for other women breaking into the media personality field. She encouraged others to follow in her footsteps, including young girls. Marcella’s family was the priority; her children and grandchildren were always around her.
It’s been said that Marcy Rinehart is a woman of many parts. She was born and brought up in Des Moines. She was one among seven kids of Clarence and Merle. Reaching 18 years of age, her ambitions to pursue a singer drove her to western Colorado.
Relationship
Following a successful acting career that spanned over five decades, Parker married Marcella Belle Rinehart on January 18, 1960. They were blessed with two kids, Fess Elisha Parker III and Ashley Allen Rinehart, and 11 grandchildren.
Marcy met Fess at a swimming pool complex while at a Hollywood fashion event. They got engaged and later hosted their marriage at El Montecito Presbyterian Church in Montecito in 1960. They were happily married for fifty years until Fess died a natural death.
