Will there be a season 2?
The chances of Hyouka getting a series are quite fleeting as the author – Mr. Yonezawa had stated on multiple occasions that he had no interest in writing the second season of the Hyouka series. To the audience’s shock, Mr. Yonezawa died in an arson plan which burned down the whole studio for once and took the life of Mr. Yonezawa. The only hope that remains is that an animation studio recently showed interest in producing the second season of Hyouka and continuing it.
