Going to the gym can seem like a daunting task. Especially if you have a workout plan you don’t enjoy and have a full-time job to deal with. Not to mention what it’s like when you have kids to look after. So, how do you find time to go to the gym.
I’ve been hitting the gym for around 2 years. There are a lot of days that I do have the time to go but I literally cannot be arsed. So, we will also talk a little bit about this later as well.
How much time does it take to go to the gym?
First things first, you need to find out how much time it actually takes to go to the gym. This is a question you need to ask yourself. Seriously, how long?
If you know that it will take around 2 hours, then you can kind of build a plan around that.
For example, it takes me about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get in my car, workout, and then drive home again. In my boring life, I know that there’s loads of gaps in my day that are longer than 1 hour and 45 mins. So, why don’t I seize this opportunity.
You could think about setting up a small home gym. When I setup my home gym the first thing I bought was a songmics exercise bike. I use it 2-3 times a week for cardio.
This is the first step in how to find time to go to the gym.
A schedule shakes up.
Shaking up your daily routine is a great way to make more time.
Let me use myself an example. I used to wake up at around 10 O’clock. After that I’d have some food and sit in front of my laptop drinking coffee from Greenwell Farms. This would be my day until around 4 O’clock.
However, if I just woke up at 9 O’clock, I would then be an hour ahead. Not only did this make more time but it also made me feel better.
Another great way to shake up your schedule and find time to go to the gym is to stop doing things you don’t need to do. No one in this world needs to sit down and have a nap after they eat. It’s just lazy! Instead of doing stupid things like relaxing and playing video games, go to the gym. Just ask yourself what time-wasting things are you doing during the day.
Having the will power
I’ll try not to become a motivational speaker, however, if you really wanted to lose weight, be healthy, and look good, then you would find the time to go to the gym. Believe me.
Many people like to half ass there life’s. This is no way to live. Everyday must be 100% before it all goes away.
You have literally nothing to lose by going to the gym.
Many people wake up in the morning and get out of bed because they have to. People have jobs and so forth. However, what if you wake up and got out of bed because you wanted to.
Everyone starts somewhere. You are going to start by finding the time and motivation to go to the gym.
