Charles Alden Black Jr is an American actor and son of child actress Shirley Temple and Charles Aiden Black. Black Jr is known for Shirley Temple’s storybook, an American children’s anthology series hosted and narrated by his mother.

Personal Life
Black Jr was born on 28 April 1952 in Washington D.C. He is the second born to Temple and first child to Black. His mom was previously married to her ex-husband John Agar Jr. and was blessed with a daughter, Linda Susan. After marrying Black, they were blessed with two children, Black jr. and Lori Black.
There is no known information about his marriage or children. He lost his dad in 2005 from myelodysplastic syndrome and his mum in 2014 from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Education
Black Jr. has a B.S. political science from Santa Clara University. He also pursued further studies at the Monterey Institute of foreign studies, Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Harvard School of Law.
His mum is an alumnus of Westlake School For Girls while his dad has a bachelor’s in Business from Stanford University and went to Harvard School of Business for a year before joining the Navy.
Career
Black Jr started his acting career as a child and appeared in the American Children T.V. series, Shirley Temple’s Storybook. However, his acting career came to an end after the show ended and he ventured into the real estate business. He has also worked at the commerce, state department business and the executive office of the president. He has represented the U.S. and foreign clients in multiple international business activities.
On the other hand, her mum began her film career when she was three. She appeared in 29 films between 3 and 10 including Now and Forever, Stand Up and Cheer and Take a Bow. She retired from film in 1950, at the age of 22. She was also a member of several boards of corporations and organizations including the National Wildlife Federation, Del monte Foods and The Walt Disney Company. She began her political career in 1969 after being appointed to represent the U.S. at the United Nations General Assembly. She has received multiple recognitions and awards including Screen Actors Guild and is 18th on the list of America’s greatest female screen legends.
His dad Black served in the Navy as an intelligence officer during world war II and the Korean war. He also worked as an executive for Dole pineapple companies and Castle & Cookie. He later created Mardela Corp, a hatchery and fishery company before becoming a maritime issues consultant and regent for Santa Clara University.
