He was born on 15th February 1965 in Rockledge, Florida, U.S. as the youngest son to the NASA engineer, Larry Thompson. He gained his education in Cocoa High School. In this school, he joined the Marching and concert band when he used to play the drums. He graduated from Cocoa High school in 1983.
