She married actor Dick Cusack in 1960 and stayed together until he died in 2003. The couple was blessed with five children; three daughters and two sons, all of whom they raised together. Seemingly, her husband significantly influenced their children’s career life since they all chose the acting profession.
On 27 July 2022, Ann Paula passed on aged 93, leaving her children and grandchildren behind. The cause of her death is yet to be disclosed.

Dick Cusack was born in August 1925 and passed away on 2 June 2003. He was born and raised in New York City in an Irish Catholic background. During World War II, Cusack served with the U.S. Army in the Phillippines. After the war, he attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he played football.
