Early Life
Alfredo James Pacino was born on April 25, 1940, at the heart of East Harlem, New York. He was under the care of his American-Italian parents.
However, at the age of 2, his parents got divorced, and was forced to live with his mother. Both he and his mother later moved to his grandmother’s home in the Bronx.
Pacino went to Hernan Ridder Junior High School but dropped out on most of his subjects because he isn’t feeling it.
As a teenager, Pacino has an eye for being a performer. That’s why he decided to enroll and audition for the High School of Performing Arts.
