Zombie movies and TV shows have always attracted viewers. But the same old tropes can make you switch to other entertainment genres. Well, you won’t find the need for drifting your interest as iZombie comes up with no stereotype content. Kudos to Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero for their efforts behind the development of the show and for making it worth watching.
Watching iZombie is a gripping show that offers its viewers new unique content pulling the interest among the Zombie genre. iZombie comes up with an engaging storyline revolving around a medical resident who turns out to be a zombie. But she does not pounce upon any human blood, rather helps the police in solving the case of brutal crimes including gruesome murders.
Like many shows which are based upon a novel or a comic book, iZombie show is also an adapted version from the comic book of similar namesake authored by Michael Allred and Chris Roberson. DC Comics, one of the well-known comic brands in the world, is behind its publishing under its Vertigo imprint.
The first season of iZombie made its debut screen release six years ago on 17th March. It got a good response from the viewers. The show even became impressive for the critics. Since that time, the show has come up 5 seasons. Now after finding iZombie too interesting to be glued at, there is a curiosity among the viewers to expect the release of season 6. Story plot
The story of iZombie revolves around a medical resident in Seattle named Olivia Moore. Things take a turn for her during a boat party, she turns into a zombie. This causes strange behavior in her. After becoming a zombie, she leaves her career and even breaks up with her fiance. Her sudden strange behavior becomes a puzzle for her family. Olivia soon finds out that until her appetite for new brains isn’t satisfied, she will transform into a usual fierce zombie.
But Olivia does not do what other usual zombies do in devouring the lives of innocent people. Rather she gets a job for herself at a morgue in the U.S. state. There she gets the chance to feed upon the brains of dead bodies. Her secret of zombie identity becomes a close guess for Doctor Ravi Chakrabarti, her boss. He soon makes a good rapport with Olivia and becomes her companion. Dr. Ravi, being a scientist, shows his interest in her strange and eerie condition.
Whenever Olivia finds an opportunity in devouring the brain of a corpse, she carries the personal characteristics and expertise of that dead person for a brief time. Other than this, Olivia also discovers that she now can delve into the past life of the deceased. When it comes to the murder case of victims, she could go back to the flashback and can provide the clue that would help in nabbing the murderer.
Olivia makes the best use of this power in solving crimes by helping the law bodies. Initially, she appears as psychic, but later on, discovers the reality about her and the eerie species (zombies). In between Dr. Ravi makes all attempts in developing a cure for Olivia’s strange disease. He is hopeful that one day Olivia will get back to her original human form.

Rose McIver
Rose McIver plays the central character Olivia, a medical resident who becomes a zombie while attending a boat party. The actress was born Frances Rose McIver in 1988, New Zealand on October 10. She is a wonderful, pretty actress and a producer.
Other than iZombie, Rose has also appeared in another American TV series Power Rangers RPM in 2009.
She was one of the power rangers wearing yellow attire. Besides this, Rose also starred in the movie A Christmas Prince, which was a romantic comedy genre film. She played the character of Amber Moore. She was also part of the following series.
Rahul Kohli
The name might appear Indian but Rahul Kohli is an actor from the United Kingdom. Well, he is from India with Hindu-Punjabi family background. His four generations of grandparents belong to India. His father had been to Kenya during his early years, whereas the upbringing of his mother was done in Thailand. Rahul was born in 1985 in London on November 13.
He plays the character of Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in iZombie. Rahul has also been part of the star cast of other horror genre shows like The Haunting of Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. He has also acted in the film Happy Anniversary. It came in 2018. Rahul was also part of the superhero-based TV series Supergirl that ran for two years (2017 – 2019).
Some of his best short films include Alone Together, The Vacancy, and I’ll Be Home Soon. Rahul has even voiced the animated characters in Harley Quinn (as Scarecrow) and The Rocketeer. iZombie Season 6: When will it be released?
The premiere of the last fifth season of iZombie came in 2018 and concluded in 2019 with a total of 13 episodes. It aired between February and May. Owing to its engaging story plot, you must be inquisitive in expecting the 6th season of this eerie crime drama series. But we are sorry to inform you that it won’t be happening. In other words, the series ended with the 5th season. Let us see if any other network picks up the show in the future.
